The 'Onpery Collective: Community Production' initiative will be launched soon.
Summary
'Onpery Collective: Community Production' aims to empower communities to produce the ‘Onpery® Reusable Sanitary Napkin’ locally, within the communities where ‘Onpery Collective: Period Poverty’, an initiative to reduce period poverty has been implemented, and to generate local employment.
To initiate the ‘Onpery Collective: Community Production’ within a community, first, they are onboarded for the ‘Onpery Collective: Period Poverty’. Then, a Committee is formed within the community that will look after the production of the Product, i.e. ‘Onpery Reusable Sanitary Napkin’. Further, a one-time infrastructure that includes stitching machines to produce the Product will be set up locally within the community, by Onpery®. A few members of the community may be trained by Onpery®, if required. Onpery® will keep on supplying the certified materials and accessories to the Committee to produce the Product.
